Gean Corchado has the Experience we need in our next Mayor!
He was born in the vibrant coastal town of Isabela, Puerto Rico. At an early age Gean was called to service. He chose the Navy. Gean served aboard aircraft carriers and quickly rose through the ranks, earning a position on the personal staff of a three-star admiral. This prestigious role highlighted his ability to thrive in demanding environments and his commitment to excellence. While serving, Gean also had the privilege of working with the Department of Justice, an experience that inspired him to pursue a career in law enforcement.
After completing his active-duty service, Gean transitioned to civilian life by becoming a deputy sheriff in Florida. Alongside his professional accomplishments, he pursued higher
education at Liberty University, earning a degree in Law and Policy with a concentration in Public Policy.
Gean met his wife, Melissa, while they were both in the Navy. Their love brought them together and now they are the loving parents of Liam. They chose Deltona to be their family's home. This is the place they want to raise their family. Now, as a
candidate for mayor of Deltona, Gean is ready to bring his experience, vision, and dedication to leadership, working to create a brighter future for the residents of Deltona.
His journey from Puerto Rico to serving his country and community is a testament to his integrity, resilience, and passion for public service. Gean will bring this drive and experience to the Deltona Mayor's Office.
